KFAF has launched a new coaching program that will see the game grow beyond the borders dubbed ‘PLAYERS FOR COACHING’. This is aimed at equipping players with leadership tools. The young men aged 18-25 are players from current league teams interested in making a career out of the game to grow, develop and nature talents in American football.
KFAF has partnered with IAASF on this particular program for facilitation. Rick Holland CEO- IAASF who doubles up as a football coach in Germany conducts the classes for an in-depth understanding of the game and fundamentals of coaching and leadership. Ones the course is completed the trainees will be tested on football IQ and knowledge where one will graduate as a LEVEL 1 certified American football coach.

“we are already in our first week of training and I feel like have learned and acquired massive tons of knowledge about the game. extremely happy for this opportunity and I look forward to passing down the tools to anyone of interest” said Chris.
The 6-weeks intense on-field training is coordinated Chris Maina a lethal WR from JKUAT sparrows who poses a threat to any comeback in the league. He is known also to be the fastest man who creates separation on coverage. He is assisted by John Kubondo-Ojonto(LB) a formidable force behind Umoja chiefs good run during the first league of the 8-man Football.

The players for coach will see 8-15 coaches graduate. This will be a milestone in our strategic plan and development track.
There is a good number of talented players in this program: Derick Odhier(DE) both from Umoja chiefs, Boniface Nzomo(JKUAT) and Collins (UON) just to mention a few. The coaching program is open to the public as well, must be above 18 years of age and enthusiastic about coaching, leadership and must be of good morals. use the sign-up form(http://www.kenyanfl.com/member-sigup/ ) or sent your introduction mail to info@kenyanfl.com.
KFAF is working closely with high schools that will see graduates become part-time coaches. it’s a move that will span spontaneous growth of the game around the country and plans are underway to conduct more local camps for u19 athletes across the gender. Parents/guardians who would like to enroll their kids in camps you are being urged to contact info@kenyanfl.com
